Why do my xbox 360 games not work for my pc?

Monday, August 31st, 2009

my computer is made by microsoft and the xbox games are made by microsoft, but nothing ever plays. i would play them on my 360 but my power cord is broken. help anyone

XBOX360 games are coded exclusively for the Xbox, they’ll only work for the system they’re designed to work on. Microsoft does make windows, but they chose to not make the 360 compatible with windows (mainly because they’d then have to support every single piece of hardware on the market, and that would reduce the quality of the games). You should be able to pick up a new power cord though, try that.

When will there be a new Xbox 360 bundle?

Monday, August 31st, 2009

They have the holiday bundle right now but they come with 2 very gay games…when is the next bundle?

Also, if you buy assassins creed or bioshock from amazon now, is it going to be in the Platinum hits case? Because I don’t want the plaitnum version- it looks ugly.

1st of all, why would you care what to box of a game looks like?

OK, Microsoft usually has 1 bundle for x-mas, then after the season it changes, at least for America. the PS3 in Europe has like 10 different holiday bundles

whats the best , easiest and free way to sell my dvd’s, Xbox console and Xbox games besides craigslist & kiji?

Monday, August 31st, 2009

I have many dvd movies, box sets, and XBox Game Consoles Amazon.com’;return true;” onmouseout=”self.status=””>Xbox console thats almost brand new with many games.
Besides craigs list and kijiji, whats the best way to advertise to get rid of them FAST?

You could sell them to various stores that could take them…such as Toys R Us (for the games), GameStop (the games, they don’t take DVDs anymore), GameCrazy (same as before)…or maybe MovieStop (the equivalent of GameStop but with movies).

But the catch for most of these quick sales will be they would most likely want you to take credit over cash so there might be some sort of penalty for taking cash…like reduction in value of the games etc. etc.

What is the difference between the two XBox 360 consoles?

Monday, August 31st, 2009

There is the 360 core bundle which is $299.99, and there is another one that is $399.99. Is the only difference a wireless controller?

With the 400 buck console, you get a wireless controller instead of the wired controller on the 300 buck one. You also get 20 gb hard drive, which means you don’t need to get a memory card to save games unless you want to transport you data to your friend’s 360. You also get a headset for online communication. The 400 also comes with the component (Green, Red, Blue, Red, White (1st 3 for video, last 2 for audio) and composite (Yellow, Red, White (V,A,A) cable combo, while the 300 only has the composite cable. The 400 also has the chrome disk tray. Online is the same for both models. You get XBL silver (for XBL marketplace and downloading the backward compatibility patch, but you cannot compete against other playes), and if you pay the 50 annual fee, you get XBL gold, which gives you access to the silver membership plus you can play/compete against other players.

Memory is the same for both.

The guy who said he has a 360 obviously doesn’t have a 360 because everything he said is mostly false.

You can play HD-DVD movies if you buy the 200 dollar HD-DVD player add-on. You will never be able to play Blu-ray movies on the 360 because MS doesn’t support Blu-ray, while Sony supports Blu-ray, but not HD-DVD.

What are the best accessories to have for an xbox 360?

Monday, August 31st, 2009

What are some good accessories to have for an xbox 360? Like for talking/texting or charging kits. things like that.

Also is getting a cooling fan for the 360 worth it? Most of the time ill be playing in my basement which is the coolest room in the house and is pretty cold in winter, and still cool through out summer.

Thank you!

I’m also investing in getting accessories for my X-Box 360. You can get "charge & play" things were, instead of batteries, the wireless controllers charge up. You can get a keyboard for your controller if you want to IM people on X-Box Live. You can get "skins" or logos of you’re favorite game, college, color, team, etc. to cover up your plain old X-Box to make it look cool. You can get Headphones for X-Box Live also. If you got a X-Box 360 Arcade you could get a hard drive, virtually anything. Here is Gamestop’s page on X-Box 360 which might help you out.

Oh yea, the cooling system will actually help the 360 increase air-flow throughout the machine which makes it where it doesn’t heat up as fast and or much.

Hope i helped ya out.

which game consoles are best? xbox /wii /ps3?

Monday, August 31st, 2009

i have a wii (not that please with the games) xbox seems to have great graphics and the best games but everyone says they break easily even bough broken! and i have ps2 and it seems alright is ps3 better with graphics game selection and more reliable ? i was leaning towards xbox but afraid of defective ones, and if ps3 is better in graphics than xbox….then i think is it wiser to get it! this is only a system that will be used by adults because no children live with us. suggestions? past experiences?

I’ll tell you like this, I have all three systems Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360. I’m a huge huge huge nintendo supporter but in all honesty, the better system is Xbox 360. They have better games, way better graphics than ps3 (compair Fight Night Round 3 on 360 and ps3, obvious difference), and you can play your own music during gameplay. I’m sold. But! you have to pay for xbox live, my downer with microsoft. ps3 although expensive is extremely well worth it. Free online play and all the extra features, pft, forget about it, thing is great. nintendo, free online play but if you dont have a wireless connection, playing online can be a real hassle. But yeah, I’d say your best bet is to go with the 360, its at a low price right now and they have great games.
By the way, who told you it breaks easily? I’ve had mine since it came out, everyone gets the red ring of death but its not a big deal. send the system, keep the hard drive and your playing again within 2 or 3 weeks once your system comes back. What have they been doing?
