I just notice that for some odd reason all my xbox 360 games have a ring in the middle of them, i’ve always had it sitting flat so this is really troublesome.They are deep back you can see them in the light,i bought this this 360 a year ago so i really don’t know whats going on here.
I’ve never moved my xbox, it has always been in one place.

Are you having problems reading the games in the console? If you look at any 360 disc, even brand new ones right out of the box, there is a very fine ring in the disc; it’s the same place on every disc. The disc surface is smooth and the ring is actually part of the manufacturing process for 360 games (I think it’s an anti-piracy measure).

i have 14 games, 2 controllers,and a wireless racing wheel, how much would you pay for all of this, or how much do think i could get at gamestop, ebay or craigslist??

I would say it is worth around £165 (about $268 american dollars), but it depends on the condition of the games you have and if they are popular games I would say if it is in good condition and has popular games you would be able to get around £180.
I looked it up on ebay and this bundle is on there for £184 but remember this is new

1.Just take your old HDD and place it on your new console and recover your gamertag.
or 2.Use a transfer cable to transfer the data on one HDD to your new one.

Like dvd drives, ring of light, fan, heatsinks, basically anything you cant buy at best buy, all inside the xbox?

The only place would be Ebay. Stores will not buy that and if you use something like craigslist your looking to locally. Ebay is your best bet.

A refurbished Xbox Pro is $200 – $30 controller. So $150-170 I’d say. I know yours isn’t refurbished but since it’s used its worth about the same or slightly less. And I know you said Elite but it’s pretty much just a black Pro with that HDD.

my sister wants to buy her boyfriend an xbox360 for xmas but is on a low budget. She saw the core system for 299 and wants to save some money, is it worth it to buy the core system or should she buy the regular xbox 360?

The XBox 360 comes in two configurations – the core system and the pro system. The core system is the more basic of the two, and does NOT have a hard drive. Those people who have never had an XBox before might wonder why you need a hard drive. Really, it is critical to be able to download new content, store large save game files, and store music / photos.

The XBox 360 Core System is sort of like the XBox 360 "Lite". It has just the very bare basics you need to play. You get the base XBox 360 console unit, one wired controller, and standard AV cables to connect the unit to your TV. That’s it. This is FAR less than you get with the advanced set. For example, the advanced set has a wireless controller, which I highly highly recommend. I hate wires. It has Xbox Live headset, and Ethernet cable. Also the advanced set has a high definition cable, giving you far higher quality on many TVs.

Of course the actual UNIT itself is exactly the same in both cases. There is only one XBox 360 console. It has a detachable faceplate, so you can customize it with cool designs. It’s just under 8 pounds in weight, and 3.3 by 12.2 by 10.2 inches. For speed, the XBox 360 has 3 separate cores that are each 3.2 GHz in speed. That’s faster than many peoples’ home computer systems!

The built in DVD player is 12x dual layer, making the XBox 360 great to serve as your home entertainment system.

Note that you can NOT play any old XBox games at all if you don’t have a hard drive. Even if you choose to get this Core unit for money reasons, I really suggest you buy the hard drive as an add-on!

well, i have to ask first why ure selling it? but to answer your question the 60gb console is no longer made, has a good enough size hd and is built with the jasper chipset so it has a much smaller chance of getting the 3 red lights, but will all the other stuff u said u had like the wireless adapter, i would ask about $400

well my brother and I both have an xbox360, and we have no promblem with our’s, it’s fun, but wii’s are cool too! so if you aren’t getting a xbox360 then get the wii!!

how does that work on a console. is it just maxed out or what?

also for example would a maxed out left 4 dead on the pc look better then a maxed out on the ps3 or xbox 360

I have a PS3 (the 80 Gig HD PS2/1 backward compatible version) and I think the reason that both PS3’s and Xbox 360’s are maxed out. Consoles are not like PC’s where you can upgrade the graphics card and memory. When you buy a console, that’s it. You can never upgrad it.
